Weight loss and healthy lifestyle, where do I begin? You wonder and ask me, The Curvy Goddess, your guide and your virtual personal trainer to healthy weight loss, fitness, and overall transformation…through and through.

So you’ve decided to lose weight in a healthy way because you’re sick and tired of living this way. Well you’ve stumbled onto the right place.

From beginning to the finish line when you take the time to read the articles on Curvy Goddess Lounge; Plus Size Workout and Weight Loss Online, signed-up for the announcements and have become a Curvy Goddess VIP and embrace the Curvy Goddess philosophy that I’ve designed you will be on your way to re-creating yourself in a healthy manner.

It’s not about fast weight loss, extreme weight loss, or weight loss through deprivation.

Nor is it about excessive hyper-intense workouts when your body is not conditioned to do so.

True, healthy weight loss and complete transformation comes from consistency, progressive improvements while going to the next level, healthy expression of emotions, and taking advantage of this platform with me, The Curvy Goddess for support. Weight loss and fitness transformation are all about healthy weight loss and implementing fitness into your life. Exercise and healthy eating are integral habits that will transform yourself from a caterpiller locked up in your cocoon to a powerful butterfly freely expressing your beauty fully.

I need to clarify why I use the phrase “weight loss” in many of my articles. It seems that these days weight loss has become a very nasty, bad phrase. I advocate sane weight loss which means weight loss by adding healthy habits into your life progressively and consistently. Healthy weight loss happens from:

Exercise for Weight Loss:

Weight loss is a by-product from implementing exercise. There are so many modalities of exercise that a Curvy Goddess can incorporate into her life.

1. Cardiovascular Workouts – dance, treadmill, elliptical, bike, swimming, martial arts/combat, circuit training

2. Resistance Workouts – circuit training, weight machine, free-weights, martial arts, circuit training

Healthy Eating:

We will discuss the definition of healthy eating. Some may think it’s dieting. But others may define it ‘eating right’. There are many opinions on this topic.

Healthy Mind-Set for Weight Loss:

A healthy mind comes with a healthy body. It is inevitable. The Curvy Goddess philosophy is just as much about creating a healthy mind and spirit along with a healthy body.

There is so much more and Curvy Goddess Lounge will cover a full range of these modalities for the Curvy Goddess to explore, discover, and enjoy.

I’m sure in the past and maybe at the present moment you have wanted healthy weight loss but really hated the process. You saw exercise for weight loss as a chore and there was nothing fun and adventurous about picking up 10 pound dumbbels and lifting them over your head.

It wasn’t fun to go into the health club or gym and be the only big girl around among a sea of skinny girls and feel completely wrong about being your size.

It wasn’t fun and adventurous to hire a personal trainer who was fit for most of his life and doesn’t understand why you can’t do a proper squat with a 45 pound bar on your back.

Have you ever thought that there were other options for weight loss and complete health and fitness? Have you ever thought that maybe those things that you have experienced in the past can be placed in your past FOREVER, Curvy Goddess?

Have you ever thought that this truly can be fun; the process of weight loss and creating a higher quality of life through radiant health and fitness? It is very possible, Curvy Goddess. And I will take you there. You must stay with me. Through thick and thin…maybe I should say ‘through thick and fit thick.”

Follow me throughout your Curvy Goddess journey where I will take you through the fitness side first. Getting it in gradually until you’re able to climb mountains or run marathons…if you have ever dreamed about doing so. Even if you never wanted to do such a thing and just wanted weight loss and getting healthier, later on your journey something inside may spark you to dream a little bigger, Curvy Goddess.

I know that I have seen this happen to many of my Curvy Goddesses along their unique health and fitness paths; from walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes to trying a Spinning class to kickboxing boot camp. From twice a week of exercise to five times a week of exercise and loving it! Or a Curvy Goddess who was well unaware of her power, hiding behind the elliptical machine at 3pm in the gym to being the Zumba instructor’s fave member. They are all finding their “new normal”.

Going along the Curvy Goddess path with healthy weight loss and/or transformational health and fitness I will share with you many things; including weight loss motivation, workouts from A-Z, weight loss before and after and a ton of other thoughts, ideas, and information. You will probably be one of my weight loss before and after that I will share with the Curvy Goddess newbies who stumbled onto this website and Curvy Community!

  1. I lost my mom unexpectedly 3 years ago at the age of 49. I’m 36 and the oldest of 5. I want to be here for them and my nieces and nephews. Im excited to start this journey and stick with it this time.

  2. there should be daily workout routine and a managable shedule for workout as instructed by your instructor……like as timing is most important…like food timings,workout timings, sleeping timings….so making overall schedule is compulsory….

    • I think it is based on the individual. Finding out what motivates an individual. The scheduling may not be practical and also may squelch a person’s inspiration and desire in the beginning of a fitness and health goal because it’s too regimented. I should know. I have trained hundreds of individuals with unique personalities in the 12 years I’ve been a personal trainer in NYC.

      What may work for one Curvy Goddess may not work for another.

  3. I do not have a webste, I am hoping you will be able too help me, As I am a very lazy person, I am 62yrs old I have 5 grown-up childrens and 5 grandchildrens, Do you help woman my aged. Could you please let me know I am prepared too lose my weight for my health as I have cervical cancer and my doctors will be happy with me if I can lose more weight, Thanks looking forward too hearing from you…..

  4. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.”
    She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and
    it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!

  6. You said right ” we should lose the weight of the body by the healthy way. If we direct lose the weight of body I mean to say if we totally leave the eating it will badly effect on our health. So I think we should lose the weight of the body step by step.

  7. It’s interesting how when we miss something in our routine, our day just seems a bit off. Like when people don’t get their morning cup of coffee. I know this may sound funny, but for me it’s not having a glass of orange juice in the morning. I’ve been drinking OJ every morning since high school and I just feel off when I don’t have any.
