Weight Loss News – What Are Kirstie, Kelly, and Jessica Up To?

Weight Loss Transformation
It’s tough on the weight loss journey for us mere mortals. But what about the celebrities who have been Curvy Goddesses and Svelte Vixens who are pressured to being Skinny Lollipops? My guess is that it may be just as tough for them with the added pressure that everybody wants to look and everybody wants to judge.

Kirstie is probably the most judged “Former Phattie” of them all. I truly think it’s not because she was obese but because she made it public. She sure has a mouth and isn’t shy using it. So I’m sure that people who have something against the overweight and the obese feel free of guilt for criticizing her size. I actually admire her for being so “out there” with her weight struggles.

Today on the Dr. Oz show she spoke about her diet and weight loss secrets although everybody knows that working out 6-8 hours a day during Dancing with the Stars helped kick-start the weight loss. Don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that.

Kirstie Alley’s Weight Loss Kit on Dr. Oz Show-Agave Advice Not So Sweet for Dieters

Unfortunately, the secrets revealed were little more than stock dieting advice of eating sensibly, maintaining a daily calorie intake of 1,400 calories, and the promotion, but not, Dr. Oz’s personal endorsement-of her line of weight loss kit products.

So what’s in Kirstie Alley’s weight loss kits?

The Rescue Me™ Kit as advertised on The Dr. Oz Show is comprised of four products: Nightingale®, Relieve Me®, Release Me® and Rescue Me™.

But probably the more interesting of the four products briefly displayed on the show was that of the Rescue Me™ elixir—a USDA certified organic weight-loss product that Kirstie Alley’s Organic Liaison Weight Loss Program claims will boost a person’s natural energy; is rich in essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants; and, reduces cravings for sugar and carbohydrates.

On the Dr. Oz Show, Kirstie states that the elixir contains agave and stevia as sugar substitutes to help reduce cravings for sweets. Furthermore, on an online sneak peek video of today’s Dr. Oz Show, Kirstie answers a Facebook fan question of “How do you give up all the sweets you like?” with her advice to use agave with an artificial sweetener as a sugar substitute that won’t mess up your glycemic index:

What?! That’s so bogus…so WRONG! We all know that agave was a scam. That it is pure sugar and one should not ingest it especially for diabetics and think that it won’t do any harm and not wreak havoc with blood sugar levels!

But good try again Kirstie! I still respect you for having a strong voice and never quitting in the weight loss game and the entertainment industry game.

Another celebrity is in the news with her weight loss struggles after her pregnancy.

Fed up with Weight Watchers, Jessica Simpson longs for nip and tuck

Although Jessica has lost 40 pounds since starting her post-pregnancy slim-down, she currently weighs 155 pounds. It’s a sizable difference from her slim and trim 100-pound figure that she achieved when starring in “The Dukes of Hazzard” in her Daisy Dukes.

I’m not really feeling sorry for her. She’s frustrated and just wants to get it all nipped and tucked and sucked.

And Jessica is telling friends that she’s so desperate that if she doesn’t achieve her goal by the time her Weight Watchers contract ends, she will choose liposuction. Publicly, however, Jessica is playing the Weight Watchers game in order to earn her $4 million endorsement deal.

Here’s a young celebrity who is done with the weight loss and stopping before she becomes another anorexic superstar.

After feeling ‘fat and ugly’ for years, Kelly Osbourne loves her curvy body (Video)

Although she slimmed down her curvy figure on “Dancing with the Stars,” Kelly Osbourne has no desire to lose more weight and join the “how low can you go” size zero trend that most female celebrities embrace. “I don’t want to be anorexic. I’m happy with how I look,” she told the Wall Street Journal yesterday. That positive body image is a dramatic difference from Kelly’s past, when she was so unhappy with her appearance that she abused drugs. Get the skinny on how Kelly attained that hourglass figure and overcame multiple challenges…

Since her top weight, Kelly has shed 50 pounds, she told Shape magazine. Now, at five feet, two inches tall and 112 pounds, she has learned to stop eating when she’s full. “It may have taken me 26 years to figure it out, but I’ve finally learned how to do it right….
