Wise tips. I’m not a big fan of the weight room personally but it’s always worth the time and effort. Great point about form also. I’ve seen hundreds of patients over the years and improper weight lifting was the cause of their back pain. Plus, you do twice the work for less results. Proper form is important.

Great advice! Using free weights, on your feet, is the best.
Squats and deadlifts, but watch your form.
and if you can find a trapbar to deadlift with… it’s easy, the form is basic and anyone can use it for a great basic lift.

I actually stumbled upon it while trying to find a good workout program for someone who is a little overweight like myself. Do you or anybody here have any experience with BodyBoss Method workout guide? I found both positive and negative reviews like the one here https://definingweightloss.com/bodyboss-method-review/ but I am considering trying it. It doesn’t seem super repetitive and it pretty much follows all the rules with what you say in your post.
If anybody can shed some light on the program for me I would be greatly appreciative!
