Hi Curvy!

So glad that you are here and I am grateful to have you.

I’m Diane also known as The Curvy Goddess. I’m a personal trainer in New York City and have been for 16 years.

AND I am a plus size woman!

My life purpose is to inspire you, helping you see the Curvy Goddess in YOU: Strong, Sexy, and very capable to having a fit and healthy lifestyle!

You may be wondering how that happened. How can a plus size woman also be a personal trainer, and not just dabble in it, but be a full-time career personal fitness trainer?

How can I dabble in something that is my passion-filled purpose?

Well, I’ve struggled with my weight my whole life.

I was born 10.5 pounds and grew up to be a big-boned girl.

No, I’m really big-boned. I don’t just have extra padding, but I have a big frame, and for the longest time I really struggled with being a big girl, wanting to be small and skinny and resisting being the big beautiful woman that I am.

When I moved to New York City to become a plus size fashion model for the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency I still was not happy with my body, so I hired a female personal trainer.

Another world opened up for me because of this beautiful, strong woman. She taught me how to appreciate my body and working out hard was not only for the skinny girls.

Being big and strong is sexy.

And this lesson made all the difference in helping me change my view of myself and the world I lived in.

And this is what I want you to know and experience…

So I created the Curvy Goddess fitness and healthy weight loss brand.

Professional Bio

Diane Williams has been a certified personal trainer for 16 years. She is certified by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) She is also kickboxing certified, Spinning Certified, and a Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant by the ACE (American Council of Exercise), Pre and Post-Natal, and Cardiovascular Training certified, CPR/AED trained and certified.

Her clients come from various fitness levels and backgrounds. Their age ranges from 19 – 89. Most have had previous injuries that need to be addressed while achieving other fitness and health goals with her. She is able to address those with shoulder, back, bone loss, knee, and muscular distortions created from lack of exercise in their lives.

  1. Well,Diana you have your work cut out for you with me.I want to loose at least 70 lbs. I weigh 210 and I’m 5’4″ I have rhumitoid arthritis,degenerative bone disease,two fake knee’s so my Dr. Say’s no spinning my foot surgeon wants me to start walking but I can’t drive and have hills no matter which way I turn out of my driveway Dr.says no hills please tell me that you can help me. I hate what I look like won’t let anyone take pictures of me,which upsets my kids. HELP PLEASE
